On Wednesday in Puerto Rico, Miguel Cotto guaranteed victory when he faces Austin Trout on December 1 at Madison Square Garden, live on Showtime:

"Thank you all for coming today. We are very happy to see you all and (I thank you for) your great support. I can only say that I will train as hard as I can like I always do, and on December 1, I will become world champion again. I'll guarantee you all that I will return to Puerto Rico as a champion."

Cotto (37-3, 30 KO) will be fighting for the "regular" WBA junior middleweight title held by Trout (25-0, 14 KO), in his first fight back since an entertaining and competitive loss to Floyd Mayweather in May.
