I think there's a serious intensity here, even though Nick Cannon talking about how it's "real serious" and there's "no smiles" was pretty corny. Ward is by all accounts just a lovely guy, but he's also a nasty SOB (and the SOG) competitively. Dawson just seems like he's got a huge chip on his shoulder. Few are giving him a chance to win here, and I think that's bothering him.
