Tomorrow night on Showtime from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, 48-year-old Bernard Hopkins puts his IBF light heavyweight title on the line in the main event against Karo Murat, with three fights set to air on Showtime. Today, the fighters hit the scales at 3:30 pm EDT.
Hopkins (53-6-2, 32 KO) and Murat (25-1-1, 15 KO) will be the second of two world title fights on the evening, as we'll also see WBO middleweight titlist Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (29-0, 21 KO) face Gabriel Rosado (21-6, 13 KO). And in the night's opening Showtime bout, Deontay Wilder (29-0, 29 KO) looks to go 30-for-30 in a heavyweight bout against Nicolai Firtha (21-10-1, 8 KO).
Also in action on the card will be prospects Zachary Ochoa, Robert Easter, Dominic Wade, Braulio Santos, and more.
