Pacquiao vs Rios: Robert Garcia sees decline in Manny Pacquiao, says this could be the end

Kevin Lee

Manny Pacquiao can't afford a loss tomorrow night, but his opponent's trainer says that there are warning signs in Manny's last two fights that he's at the end of his career.

Manny Pacquiao is about to turn 35 and he's on a two-fight losing streak. Even with one of those being debatable against Timothy Bradley, Pacquiao is aging and eventually, he's going to come to the end of his line as a top fighter. With a brutal KO loss and an 11-month absence directly behind him, will tomorrow night against Brandon Rios be the end?

Rios' trainer Robert Garcia says he sees things in Manny that others may not:

"Everybody's end comes someday and it could be this fight. He does have a lot to lose in this fight, and that's pressure not only for him but his trainer and everybody in his camp. There are things I've seen in his last two fights that maybe a lot of people who haven't fought don't see. I went through those things and I already see them ... A lot of fighters go through the same things, they don't even tell their wives, but I can see it in him."

Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO) really is in a must-win situation with this fight, while Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO) has little to lose. Will the 27-year-old Rios be able to put doubt and fear into Pacquiao, or will Manny still be too skilled? That's the real burning question for tomorrow night.
