Evaluating the champions

Evaluating the champions!

So, I was thinking, "of the popular sanctioning bodies or belt organizations, who is the most 'prestigious?' Which belt holds the most merit. I originally thought it would be the WBC [just a gut feeling], but I was wrong. I decided to include the IBO and Ring Magazine just for fun.

A sidenote - I also decided to see "how many champions there would be without unifications." In that, "the other organization got it right, and we just agreed with them." So to say, "how many you got right all by yourself."

Ring Magazine:
Dude it's a magazine and I have no idea when they started giving out belts don't ask me (it was 1922).

A note: In the Ring Magazine case, since their belts are meaningless in the grand scheme of things, I used for them either the Champion or the #1 guy if there was no champion

CRUISERWEIGHT: Yoan Hernandez - you could make an argument for this

---

FINAL VERDICT:

Ring Magazine is the most legit, even if their P4P rankings are busted.

The IBO is a joke.

The IBF and WBO cling to relevance.

The WBA would be the most prestigious if they hadn't started this "Super / Regular / Interim" champion nonsense back in 2001.

Dumbasses.
