Osumanu Adama (22(16)-3(0)-0) - Height 5'11'' - Reach ?? - 33 years old
The world champion with the highest ko rate, Gennady Golovkin, is back in action on February 2, defending his middleweight strap against Osumanu Adama in Monte Carlo.
Golovkin first won a world title in 2010 and has defended it eight times, winning by ko eight times. The last time the Kazakh didn't win by ko was in 2008, against obscure boxer Amar Amari.
Adama has fought for a global strap before, losing to Daniel Geale in 2012, but has spent the rest of his career below world level. Although Adama has never been stopped, he has been put on his backside by Dyah Davis and Don George.
Adama carries some threat - three of his last four wins have come by ko - but it is hard to see him being able to stand up to the sort of assault Golovkin will throw at him.
