Canelo Alvarez and Austin Trout are gearing up for their April 20 Showtime clash, with three press events set this week in Texas, all open to the public.
Canelo Alvarez and Austin Trout will hit the Lone Star State on Wednesday and Thursday for a three-city promotional tour, with events in San Antonio, Houston, and McAllen all open to the public.
Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KO) and Trout (26-0, 14 KO) will meet on April 20 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, live on Showtime, in a fight that will really determine the best true junior middleweight in the world, with Floyd Mayweather moving back down to welterweight for his May 4 fight with Robert Guerrero.
Their fight should attract a lot of viewers both at the gate and on TV, and right now is arguably the most interesting fight on the boxing schedule.
