"With Victor (Ortiz), we saw (Floyd) kinda put his hand on his throat, if he does something like that, are you gonna react?"
"He's touching, I'm going. You gonna touch me, I'm gonna fight either way. Whether it's at a press conference, weigh-in, whatever. No one's gonna lay their hand on me."
"Do you find yourself liking him less as the hype goes on? Is he getting on your nerves more?"
"No. We're sportsmen, and I know that's part of his game. One thing is, when you get mad and you start disliking somebody, that's when everything starts going out the window, game plans, and you just get in there and start (brawling). That's what he wants. There's no point in disliking the guy, I'm gonna fight him and shake his hand. So, you know."
"Do you think that's worked for him with other opponents?"
"Definitely. It gets these guys out of their game plan. That's why when they go in there, it looks like they had no game plan, because he gets under their skin right away. Like I said, everything goes out the window."
"Do you have a stronger mental fortitude than any other opponent he's faced?"
"I think so. I think he hasn't been in with anybody as mentally strong as me, and somebody that can change the pace."
