Boxing will be back on the NBC Sports Network on June 14, with Main Events presenting a triplheader from the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
In a 10-round heavyweight bout, Bryant Jennings (16-0, 8 KO) will take on Russian-born Andrey Fedosov (24-2, 19 KO). Jennings, 28, has started to make his mark with the NBC Sports series, winning four fights on the channel last year, when he went 5-0 overall. Fedosov, 27, has fought his last two bouts at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, beating Darnell "Ding-a-Ling Man" Wilson this past weekend.
The most interesting fight on the card is a 12-round light heavyweight bout, with the winner receiving the No. 1 ranking with the IBF. Sergey Kovalev (20-0-1, 18 KO) will face Cornelius White (21-1, 16 KO) in a 12-round bout. Kovalev has really turned some heads with brutal demolitions of Gabriel Campillo and Lionell Thompson in two bouts on the series. White, 31, has been on a decent run, with wins over Yordanis Despaigne, Dmitry Sukhotsky, and veteran Otis Griffin, but the red flag for him here is that his one loss was a TKO-1 against Don George in 2011. Kovalev is pure power, and he fights for knockouts.
Also on the card, welterweight Ronald Cruz (17-1, 12 KO) will face Jaime Herrera (10-2, 5 KO). Cruz is coming off of a loss to Antwone Smith. Herrera is a 24-year-old Chicago-based club fighter.
