Saturday night on CBS, a new Floyd Mayweather documentary will premiere at 8 pm EDT, featuring narration from LL Cool J, as well as his new song "We're the Greatest," featuring Eddie Van Halen.
Also featured on the doc: Kobe Bryant! He says things like only Kobe Bryant can say them, or so I imagine, anyway.
Will y'all be watching this one? "30 Days in May" was decent, and "All Access" has been good (even though nobody's watching it on first-run airings). Of all the pre-fight promo shows, this is the one most likely to impact PPV sales, and it will be interesting to see what kind of ratings it does.
There is some speculation that this fight isn't going to do as well on PPV as Floyd's other recent fights, with some even forecasting sub-1 million buys, but in my experience, it's basically impossible to tell what kind of buzz a fight really has until fight week, when the casual fans start filtering in to pay close attention.
