Danny Garcia and Zab Judah made weight today in Brooklyn for tomorrow night's Showtime main event, with Garcia's WBC and WBA junior welterweight titles on the line. Garcia came in at 139.8, with Judah at 140, taking a second attempt to make weight after removing his socks and underpants.
The co-feature fight is settled in, and the WBO middleweight title is still on the line. Though both titlist Peter Quillin and challenger Fernando Guerrero were overweight earlier, they each came back an hour later and hit the 160-pound mark, so that's good.
Danny Jacobs is also back tomorrow night, with highlights of his fight against Keenan Collins to be aired on the Showtime broadcast. Both Jacobs and Collins came in at the 161-pound contracted weight.
BLH will have more on Garcia-Judah and the rest of the weekend's fights, including Martinez-Murray, Khan-Diaz, Arreola-Stiverne, Wilder-Harrison, Abregu-Decarie, and more, tonight and tomorrow, when we'll have live coverage of the three big shows from Buenos Aires, Brooklyn, and Sheffield.
