Carl Froch says he'd be willing to face Andre Ward in Las Vegas, though he says it's not his top priority right now:
"If the fight wasn't going to happen and someone said it could happen in Las Vegas then I'd definitely say 'yes, let's do it'," said Froch. "I know it's the United States but let's get it on. Las Vegas is kind of a neutral venue, believe it or not, because it is its own state of Nevada. They have got their own commissioner. I've always wanted to fight in Las Vegas in the glitz and glamour, and have my name up in lights. That is one thing I've not had in my career."
I'm not sure how Carl Froch thinks American boxing works, but every state has its own commission. When he fought in Atlantic City against Ward, that was a fight under the New Jersey commission. New York has one. Even Texas has their puppet crew. If Vegas is "neutral," than anywhere in the U.S. besides California is neutral, right? We have, like, 50 of these "its own state" things, Carl.
The real reason to fight in Vegas is casino money.
