Nonito Donaire is seeking revenge for his April loss to Guillermo Rigondeaux, and is willing to fight again at 122 pounds to get it. Donaire is looking to move up to featherweight soon, but a Rigondeaux rematch, he says, is top priority:
"I want a rematch (with Rigondeaux) more than anything else right now. I'm training hard right now and feeling good."
Donaire (31-2, 20 KO) also has an option in Juan Manuel Lopez, no matter what happens tonight in Lopez's fight against Mikey Garcia. If Lopez wins, he'll leave with the WBO featherweight belt, but if Garcia wins, the title will be declared vacant, and there's a chance Donaire could face Lopez for the vacated title. That fight has been discussed by Top Rank and both fighters have appeared open to it.
Do you want to see a second Rigondeaux-Donaire fight? Do you think Nonito could do better than he did the first time around, and well enough to even the score between them?
