Juan, finally conquering Manny Pacquiao. How happy are you not to have Manny Pacquiao as the next opponent for your fight?

Juan Manuel Marquez

First of all, I want to say hello to everybody. I feel very happy because once again I'll be back in the ring with another great fighter. I know I have a tough fight and I'm ready for October 12. I'll start training very hard, because Bradley is a tough fighter, and I'm ready for him.

What would you say to those people who say Manny Pacquiao gave you chances for rematches, why not return the favor to him?

Juan Manuel Marquez

Because everybody knows what happened in the last three fights with Pacquiao. They robbed me of the fights. In the fourth fight, I proved who's better. I want to keep this feeling in my life. Knocking out Pacquiao, this is a great thing in my life and I want to keep it. The promoter offered me a lot of money, but the most important thing is the feeling, my feeling, my honor. For the people, it's the same.

Marcos Villegas, The Boxing Channel

Why do you think speed is going to be the most important factor in this fight? You mentioned that in the press conference.

Juan Manuel Marquez

Because Bradley has speed. If you fight another fighter with speed, and you fight with speed, it's complicated for you. I need to work on my speed because I want to give a great fight. With the speed, with intelligence, training with the strength in the same step.

Does Timothy Bradley remind you of anybody you've fought in your career?

Juan Manuel Marquez

He has a very difficult and elusive style, he reminds me of Freddie Norwood. I have learned a lot from this style of fighting so I know I must work very hard and gain speed.

Last question, Juan. What would it mean to you if you won a fifth title and you personally would feel that you would be the greatest fighter in Mexican history?

Juan Manuel Marquez

It's a great motivation for me. It's a great thing for me because I'd like to be the best Mexican fighter in history. I'm looking for that fifth title in five different divisions.
