British & Ireland Middleweight Super Six

Martin Murray, Darren Barker & Matthew Macklin have all had the chance to win a word title but have failed with their bids, Barker has got probably his best shot to win a world title next Saturday when he fights Daniel Geale for the IBF title. Macklin & Murray are on the comeback trail though and (Macklin especially) needs a series of comeback fights to get back on the world stage. So with 3 top British middleweights plus Andy Lee from Ireland, you have 4 top class fighters who all have the desire to get back on the world stage, then in Billy-Joe Saunders you have a young, hungry prospect who could gain good experience and pull off a shock win or two. Then there could be eliminator fights for the 6th spot between inexperienced fighters on the up such as Chris Eubank Jr, Adam Etches, Joe Selkirk etc. If Darren Barker beats Daniel Geale then there would be a title up for grabs but most of all we may finally see who the best middleweight in Britain & Ireland is.
