NYC Time Warner Subscribers Cut Off from Showtime Boxing

Today, I looked in my inbox and found a notice from the evil empire, oops, I mean "Time Warner Cable" that all CBS programming, including Showtime, has been cut from my service. I guess they're trying to play hardball in their negotiations or something, but it's unacceptable that this has been dumped on me without warning, and I am now missing fights, beginning tonight. They even had the nerve to include this statement:

We deeply regret being forced into this position by CBS, but we're prepared to stand by our customers and do what it takes to fight these unreasonable demands.

So this is their definition of "standing by" their customers--shutting us off from our channels without warning? I guess by that definition my ex-wife was "standing by me," when she left our marriage, and that time I was fired from my college job due to budgetary concerns they were actually "standing by" their employees.

So, yeah, I'm pissed, and I'm ranting, but I am also serious in that if they do not get it resolved in a week, I will leave TW, and I will do it permanently. So I need suggestions. Anyone in the NYC area want to recommend who I should be looking to for my boxing? I have had TW since I moved to Brooklyn, and I don't know the media market. The Mares fight is on the 15th, and I figure it will probably take a week to get another company in here to set it all up, so basically TW has a week to figure out negotiations, or I will need to switch. Who should I switch to? Do other NYC-area cable providers have these kinds of channel blackouts?

Oh, also, fuck Time Warner.
