Hopkins vs. Shumenov Weigh-in Results: All fighters make weight for Showtime card

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

All six of the fighters participating on the main TV card made weight successfully.

All six of the boxers who will be televised live on Showtime tomorrow night at 9 PM ET successfully made weight for their bouts. It was a pretty calm and ordinary weigh-in event until Beibut Shumenov began to aggressively jaw at Bernard Hopkins at their staredown after they each weighed in.

Hopkins weighed in two and a half pounds under the light heavyweight limit of 175 at 172.5. Shumenov came in at 174.5 for tomorrow's main event, and starting talking some smack to Bernard after they got off the scales and had the customary staredown. The face-off appeared to be over then Shumenov got in Hopkins' face to add a few more words which appeared to catch the ire of "The Alien".

Paulie Malignaggi stepped on the scale wearing some type of underwear with an elephant trunk sticking out from the front. He weighed 146.25. Porter stepped on the scale fully nude and came in at 146.75. Porter said in his post weigh-in interview that he had trained for a KO, not a decision.

Finally, Peter Quillin and Lukas Konecny each made weight. Quillin was 159.8, Konecny 158.25.
