Lee Wylie on Mayweather vs Maidana

Video analysis of some of the tools Maidana used in the fight. This one is a very short one and focuses mostly in how Maidana used his jab and some subtle movements and feints to get Floyd on the ropes instead of letting him command from the center of the ring.

At some point Floyd learned the lesson I think, because Maidana didn't find the same success and Floyd started gaining the center more often, and with it, turn the fight to his side. In any case, it really shows some level of subtlety in Maidana's game. No one can outthink Floyd, yet Chino managed to have quite a lot of success restricting Floyd's movements, as even in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the fight, he was still able to corner Mayweather and ressume his assault for some stretches. Though, it happened less often than at the start of the fight.

I love this! Hope you enjoy, it's a bit of a shame it's so short.
