Well, here's the fight coming up. I like the speech; it really shows who he really is (no bullshit, honest, and determined).
I'm maybe one of 40% of the boxing public that is rooting for Gary. Here's how I think the fight will go:
Round 1 starts off as a feeling out round for about 1.5 mins, and they start to open up. Gary clocks him with a good right hook and Loma starts teeing off with the lead left hand. Gary takes the lead and Loma moves and counter punches. Gary starts steering him into the ropes and starts finding his range while slipping Loma's jab.
Round 2 proceeds slowly and they both start warming up and throwing combinations. Loma lands a 1-2, and Gary tees off 5-6 shots and stuns Loma. Late in the round Gary staggers him.
Round 3 Loma starts off more aggressive and starts moving forward and trying to get Gary on the ropes. Gary slips out of the ropes and pivots. Gary's speed bothers him and while Loma gets off some left hands Gary has found range and timing quicker.
The way I see the fight going is Gary slowly finds his range in rounds 1-4, and let's his speed and accuracy take over from rounds 6-8 and then tries to drive home the KO around rounds 10-11.
That's it for now. I don't see it going a decision as they both are so fast and hit so hard and have solid fundamentals. Pc!
