Jorge Linare's TBA opponent for the Shaun Porter-Kell Brook undercard will be Ira Terry. Since 2010, Terry (26-11, 16 KOs) has compiled a record of 2-9 with his fight in January of this year ending in a no contest. Seven of those nine losses were knockout loses. Terry has never gone past eight rounds, and since June 2012, Terry has fought a total of eight rounds over five fights. The two best names on Terry's ledger are Jason Litzau and Francisco Vargas, who both knocked Terry out.
Needless to say, this will be a very soft touch for Linares (36-3, 23 KOs), who is staying busy while waiting for a possible title shot against the winner of the Omar Figueroa-Daniel Estrada WBC lightweight title bout, which is also on the Porter-Brook undercard. Linares has won five fights in a row since losing two fights in a row to Antonio DeMarco and Sergio Thompson.
