There is a great doc on the NFL and concussions tonight on PBS's Frontline if you haven't yet seen it. Very enlightening of how severe concussions are and to what lengths the NFL has gone to suppress the information. It starts with Mike Webster who was a center for the Steelers. Concussions result in memory loss, extreme violence, drug addiction and huge family problems to say the least. Frequently suicide is the result. Players had to settle for $750 mil because some needed help immediately but the amount is not nearly enough compared to the problem The estimate now is that 1 in 3 players will be effected.
