35-year-old Thai titlist Amnat Ruenroeng is ready and willing to take on the cream of the crop in the flyweight division - his team just wants it to happen on U.S. soil where he can get greater exposure and presumably a fair shake. His promoter, Jimmy Chaichotchuan, was content with his latest performance against Johnriel Casimero and is ready for his fighter to move on to bigger and better.
"I'd like Amnat to fight the other top flyweight's in this division including Roman Gonzalez, Juan Estrada and the rematch with Kazuto Ioka, the WBA flyweight champion." Chaichotchuang said.
"Amnat will go to America to fight Gonzalez or Estrada, but Amnat (will) not go to fight in Mexico," he said. "I want to use your media to talk with the promoter of Gonzalez and Estrada, and make the fight happen in America"
For those who question what Amnat will be able to bring to the table against these young and talented guys, Chaichotchuang assures the public that Amnat can still perform well at his age because he's never been hurt in the ring and sticks to great training to keep him in top condition.
So how about it, how do you like a fight between Ruenroeng and El Chocolatito? Do you think Amnat has enough to give Gonzalez all he can handle?
