I don't know what kind of numbers Floyd was hoping for in his last fight, but I'm pretty sure they were a little more than what he got.
According to Dan Rafael, last weekend's card pulled Floyd's worst PPV numbers since his fights with Arturo Gatti and Carlos Baldomir in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
PPV industry source on #MayweatherBerto numbers tells me they're very poor relatively speaking. 'Being generous is might hit 550,000 buys.'

#MayweatherBerto will be Floyd's weakest PPV showing since he first went on PPV with Gatti & Baldomir, fights that were 300k plus. #boxing

For those keeping count, that's about 300,000 less than the assumed buys from Floyd's fight with Robert Guerrero.
While it's still more buys than I would prefer, I won't deny a certain amount of schadenfreude. But we've all made our complaints already. Just remember these numbers once Golovkin-Lemieux rolls into town next month.
