Tito Ortiz knuckles up with Bernard Hopkins in a staredown at the Joe Hand Gym in Philadelphia, Pa., during the UFC 133 open media workout (Pic). Hopkins, a world class professional boxing champion, hails from the "City of Brotherly Love." In the past he's been critical of mixed martial arts, but has recently changed his tune. In fact, he will be in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center this weekend (Aug. 6, 2011) when "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" takes on Rashad Evans in the night's main event. Boxing legend Bernard Hopkins talks James Toney's UFC debut via hardcoresportsradio.com - "For real. James Toney is out of his league... When you step out into a situation where, against a legend too in his own sport. I believe, and I'll go on the record, that the best MMA guy or UFC guy go up against the best boxer in the world in their arena, in their arena gets their ass kicked. I don't care who it is, whether Floyd, Pacquiao, Bernard Hopkins, they get they ass kicked. That is not what we do."

Amir Khan, David Haye, Oscar de la Hoya, Michael Katsidis, Bernard Hopkins and Shane Mosley at yesterday's weigh-in. To keep things in order: Khan is hoping to fight Juan Manuel Marquez; Haye is probably going to fight Audley Harrison; Oscar is happy to pocket some coin for promoting; Katsidis wants to fight anyone, including Marquez and Khan; Bernard Hopkins is apparently over his tift with the Golden Boy gang; and Shane Mosley had a press conference yesterday for his September 18 PPV fight with Sergio Mora. "Come on, dog! Bute would knock Bernard Hopkins out. I have been telling y'all for years Hopkins is a fraud. He went from calling out David Haye, a heavyweight, to calling out Bute, who is a super middleweight. He saw something in Bute and wanted that fight. After last night, he may be asking for a Pavlik rematch. He's not going to want anything to do with Bute. Bernard Hopkins is a cross dresser." --James Toney, who also discusses the Klitschkos again, as well as Johnathon Banks with Percy Crawford of FightHype.com. (Photo by Al Bello / Getty Images)

"These motherfu**ers want me out. They are trying to stop me from working. They all want me out of the way, it’s their agenda against me." --Bernard Hopkins, speaking to Michael Marley of the Examiner. In this lone article, Hopkins claims Golden Boy is shafting him, he plays the race card, and says he's not under contract to Golden Boy, and hasn't been "since before the Pavlik fight." Bernard Hopkins decisions Roy Jones Jr. in miserable fight: "I don't want to sound like I have no respect for these two fighters. I do. But neither of them looked like they had anything left tonight, the fight was hideous, and the tiny violin-worthy actions of Hopkins were despicable. The fight was truly bad in every single way. Neither fighter landed much by way of significant punches (Jones may not have landed one truly good shot all night), Hopkins flopped three times, Jones later called time on a second Hopkins low blow, and overall the whole thing just felt farcical and embarrassing."
