Fact: Floyd Mayweather has never lost a fight that Triple H or Stephanie McMahon were in attendance for. The dynamic WWE duo showed up at the MGM Grand for his bout against Robert Guerrero in Las Vegas, Nevada, last night (Sat., May 4, 2013) and "Money" earned a unanimous decision victory. Orlando may be getting another WrestleMania soon
WrestleMania 31 or WrestleMania 32 could be coming to Orlando, Florida, according to a report from the Business Journal, which reveals "The Sports Commission recently received a request for a proposal from WWE for the opportunity to host WrestleMania. The event would take place in late March or early April in either 2015 or 2016." WWE last held a WrestleMania in Orlando in 2008 with WrestleMania 24, featuring Undertaker defeating Edge to win the world heavyweight title, Randy Orton defeating Triple H and John Cena to win the WWE championship, Floyd Mayweather knocking out Big Show, and Shawn Michaels retiring Ric Flair. Anyone hoping WWE heads back to Orlando for the biggest show of the year this soon?
Floyd Mayweather's birthday cake is awesome
Floyd Mayweather turned 36-years-old yesterday (Feb. 24, 2013) and this is apparently the cake made to commemorate the occasion (via @LiveFight). Put simply, that's an awesome cake. As a reminder, "Money" told Peter Rosenberg all the way back in August of last year that he would be at WrestleMania 29 on April 7 in New Jersey. The clock is ticking on an announcement for as much and with his recently signing a deal with Showtime and signing a May 4 fight against Robert Guerrero it seems likely he won't be following through on his word to make the show. Stay tuned anyway. And, again, sweet cake.
