GSP set to train with Freddie Roach:
UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre broke the news that he will be spending some quality time with world renowned boxing trainer Freddie Roach in the very near future.
"Rush" told Jim Rome on his nationally syndicated radio show that he will be flying to California today to begin training at Roach's Wildcard Gym in Hollywood.

No matter what, Freddie Roach wants Floyd Mayweather Jr. next:
"If Mayweather doesn't come to the table, I know there are other fights out there, but would you guys be interested in that?" Roach said. "Would the general public buy that? I want that fight probably as bad as you guys do.
"It's got nothing to do with the money. It's about the challenge. I know (Mayweather's) style gives Manny the most problems and it would be a difficult fight for us."
"People say, why not just take the blood test and be over it," Roach said. "Just because it doesn't bother you to give blood doesn't mean it doesn't bother me. Some people pass out when they give blood. Manny Pacquiao, I lose him for three days when he gives blood because he feels weak. I don't care if its mental or physical, but it's there.
"I don't think Floyd is big enough to make the rules. We're not going to do any rule he says. It's like giving away the first two rounds to him. It gives him confidence and we won't do that."

- I think I made him throw up again yesterday. I think thats the third time he's thrown up after his workout. But I push him hard and he wont quit.
-The thing is, hes not doing this to become a boxer at all. He just wants to improve with his hands. His main sport is wrestling and he'll shoot os quickly as possible
-So his number one game is the ground game of course, but his punches, he's sitting down, hes rotating, his back is no problem; he's had that surgery and feels 100% better. We went 12 rounds on the mitts yesterday, straight through, hard work.
Roach, of boxing fame, has worked with several MMA stars including Anderson Silva, Andrei Arlovski, BJ Penn, Sokoudjou, Dan Hardy and Gerard Mousasi.
