Klitschko KO-7 Brock

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Wladimir Klitschko successfully defended the IBF and IBO heavyweight championships with a seventh round knockout against Calvin Brock on an enormous right hand. Brock got up, but he was staggered and Wayne Kelly called it off. Good decision as far as I can see.

So Calvin Brock loses his first fight, and Klitschko establishes himself as almost definitely the No. 1 heavyweight in the world.

Official time: 2:10 of round seven.

We are now one week away from Pacquiao/Morales III.
