Hello and how's it going? My name is Scott, and this is Bad Left Hook, SB Nation's first blog dedicated to the sweet science. We will be discussing all things boxing, from the big fights to the small fights and everything in between.
We're coming up on Mosley/Vargas II in just a few weeks, but there are a few interesting fights scheduled between now and then. We're also getting running on the heels of a very interesting few months in the sport, with De La Hoya's return and subsequent manhandling of Ricardo Mayorga, Antonio Tarver being decimated at the hands of the retiring Bernard Hopkins, and a very controversial Jermain Taylor/Winky Wright bout.
Also, feel more than free to post diary entries -- they're basically your way to blog within this blog. If there's a local fighter that's been catching your eye, tell us about it! If you think someone is being overlooked or overrated, let's hear it. If you just want to post your own thoughts on any particular fight, go bananas. That's what they're for.
