Germany Results: Arslan upends Hill, Erdei tops Mendoza, Inkin beats Bruer

In Germany tonight, 37-year old Firat Arslan topped 43-year old Virgil Hill to win the WBA cruiserweight title, marking Hill's second straight loss. He also lost to 40-plusser Henry Maske in a non-title fight earlier this year.

Arslan (28-3-1, 18 KO) won a unanimous decision on scores of 118-110, 116-113, and 117-111. Hill (50-7, 23 KO) seems likely to retire. He has won just one of his last four fights.

WBO 175-pound champ Zsolt Erdei stayed undefeated (28-0, 17 KO) with a win over tough veteran Tito Mendoza. Mendoza (36-8, 28 KO) pushed it to a split decision, winning on one card, 117-111, and losing on the other two, 117-111 and 116-112.

Undefeated super middleweight Denis Inkin kept his perfect mark (32-0, 24 KO) with a win over Martin Abel Bruer (19-2, 12 KO). Bruer was winning on two cards after four rounds, 38-37, and had knocked Inkin down in the second. But the 29-year old Inkin rallied to score a decisive UD win, with scores of 117-111, 117-110, 117-110.
