Steward discusses Cintron-Feliciano

Hall of Fame trainer Manny Steward discussed Friday's fight between his man, Kermit Cintron, and Jesse Feliciano, with Gabriel Montoya of Doghouse Boxing.

Steward says that Cintron's hand is bruised, not broken, and that Cintron complained of it hurting after the first round.

That news aside, Manny described the game Feliciano as "crazy," which is definitely fitting. Said Steward, "There are two types of guys that can make you look bad. One is this type of guy who is all wired up and crazy, throwing a bunch of punches and bullying forward. He didn't have any power on them but he just kept throwing. The other is the type that runs away and doesn't want to engage. We had talked with a member of Floyd's camp (Mayweather uses Feliciano for sparring). And they told me that if we don't get him out fast it could be a long night."

With Cintron's win, he sets himself up for the discussed title unification bout with Paul Williams in February.
