TONIGHT! Judah v. Galvan

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Zab Judah makes his return to the ring tonight after a one-year layoff on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights, taking on 34-year old Hammond, IN, native Ruben Galvan. Judah hasn't fought since losing handily to Floyd Mayweather, Jr., a few months after being upset by Carlos Baldomir. Galvan's career features losses to former featherweight champion Jorge Paez and ex-sorta contender Marty Jakubowski. Should be nothing more than a simple tune-up for Cotto in June, but Baldomir was supposed to be nothing more than a mandatory and tune-up for Mayweather.
