Staff Picks: Matt is taking Taylor with a late TKO, Brent is taking Taylor via KO in the middle rounds, and I'm going to take Taylor with hard-fought, tight unanimous decision, but I think Pavlik is going to floor him at some point in the fight. Lots of sites and writers are taking Pavlik, but sans a pick from Kevin, we're unanimous in favor of Taylor at Bad Left Hook. Experience can speak volumes, and that's what I think we're selecting.
I'm really excited for this fight. Part of it is just that it's been so long since I've sat down and scored and discussed a fight in progress, and part of it is because this is legit, big fight, championship boxing. The champ against the top contender.
And not only that, but Berto-Estrada is a nice fight, too. We're all pretty big Berto supporters, and it's great to see him starting to take on better competition.
Coverage starts at 10:15 ET/7:15 PT tonight, televised on HBO. Join us, score along, talk about the fights -- that's why we're here.
