King to stream Diaconu-Henry this Saturday

The Adrian Diaconu-Chris Henry light heavyweight "interim title fight" this Saturday in Romania will be broadcast live as a free stream on DonKingTV.com, according to a DKP press release.

From the release:

"I have been overwhelmed by the people's blessings of success to our pioneer effort in launching DonKingTV.com. DonKingTV.com is the people's global network. I want to thank all the people who have logged on and will long on and to the bloggers who are the modern-day apostles of the media."

You're welcome, Don. You know, all reports are that King took a big financial hit on the Spinks-Phillips card, so I'm stoked that he's bringing us another card (with a more attractive fight) so quickly. It shows a serious dedication and belief in the concept, and it's a concept I absolutely love. Don King deserves a lot of credit for all of this.

Diaconu-Henry is certainly an interesting enough fight, and makes for a big Saturday of boxing for American fans that want to watch three notable fights -- a group of which I am a part, of course.

So, to update the Bad Left Hook live coverage schedule, we've got a triple-header this Saturday.

Starting at 1:30 in the afternoon (ET), we'll be doing the Diaconu-Henry card, which will have three live undercard fights. At 6 that evening, ESPN Classic brings us Adamek-Bell. And at 9:45, of course, the mega showdown between Hopkins and Calzaghe.

Gonna be a good day, fight fans.
