Sky Sports, 4:15 Eastern (9:15 local), Martin Rogan vs. Sam Sexton, 7:30 p.m. Eastern ($5.99 PPV), Joey Abell vs. Billy Willis, Kevin Carmody vs. Daniel Maldonado

ESPN2, 9:00 p.m. Eastern, Kevin Johnson vs. Devin Vargas, Jorge Luis Teron vs. Aldo Valtierra.  Pray to Jesus, Allah, Vishnu or whatever diety you believe in that they don't show Bruce Seldon vs. Gabe Brown, which is on the undercard.

Saturday, May 16, 3:30 p.m. Eastern (9:30 local) (PPV - not sure how much though), Giacobbe Fragomeni vs. Krzystof "Diablo" Wlodarczyk

Showtime, 9:00 p.m. Eastern (9:00 p.m. Pacific on tape delay), Andre Ward vs. Edison Miranda, John "John John but not the real John John" Molina vs. Frankie Archuleta

Azteca America, 10:00 p.m. Eastern (7:00 p.m. Pacific), Vanes Martirosyan vs. Juan Astorga, Brandon Rios vs. Oscar Meza

Also in action:

  • Timo Hoffmann and Franz Botha face off in a race to the bottom.  Even at 40 years old and out of shape and in Germany, I have to say I like Botha's chances.  On the bright side, as you can see, Botha doesn't actually need to bleach his hair anymore to get the "white rhino" effect.
  • Ricardo Torres is making his comeback fight at welterweight, which looks to be a permanent move.
  • Still think winning The Contender boosts your career?  Grady Brewer's back to what he was doing before the show, fighting a can on an undercard in Oklahoma.
  • Victor Emilio Ramirez defends his own cruiserweight belt in Argentina against Ali Ismailov.  It looks like Ramirez is going to somehow defend his title for at least one fight.  I hope a network picks up the fight when he faces the interim beltholder, Ola Afolabi, in what should be an entertaining fight.
