There's a new champion at Bad Left Hook, as DrHenrik came on strong down the stretch to beat out a couple of pick'em giants and claim the crown. It was one of the more competitive 10-week seasons we've had, with the title hanging in the balance right up until the final night of fights. Congratulations to the new winner on a fine season.
Second place went to Brian Brock, a previous title-holder, with 217, while quincyte used an explosive final week to grab third with 189. In fourth place was a familiar name, with two-time defending champion ulises solis at 183.5 proving yet again to be one of the very best at the game.
Taking fifth was early season leader bazzlad with 166, while Stevosaurus Rex placed sixth and OliGold seventh with 160.5 and 159 points respectively. Rounding out the overall top were Sweet science at 153.5, Colon3I 153 and last season's second place finisher Sam5001 with 146.
The weekly top score, a very impressive 63.5, was turned in by quincyte (4 for 6, 3 triples & 1 double), while Dplainview (4 for 6, 1 double) took second with 38 and notclements (4 for 6, 1 double) placed third with 34.5. In fourth spot was rookie ekker3 (4 for 6, 2 doubles) with 30, followed by the new title-holder DrHenrik (3 for 5, 1 double & 1 triple) in fifth at 27.5 and Sam5001 (3 for 6, 1 double) in sixith with 19.5. The only other players to score more than the 10 point bonus this week were BrianBrock (3 for 6, 2 doubles) at 17.5 and DodgerFan86 (2 for 3, 2 doubles) with 12.
A new season will begin this week, so keep your eyes out for the Season 9 Week 1 line-up.
