As we wait on the New York State Athletic Commission to make their final ruling in the case of Antonio Margarito's license today at 3 p.m. EST (click here for live updates and stream info), here's a good way to spend a half-hour: The first full episode of HBO's 24/7 for the fight, which first aired on Saturday night.
This is, again, the finest episode in the history of this series, at least in my opinion. We are presented with a villain unmatched in current boxing. He's not unlikeable because he's arrogant or because he talks too much. He's unlikeable because, simply, he's unlikeable.

Then you have Miguel Cotto, the humble hero. But today, as you may have seen (or may have missed), Cotto has said that he won't go through with the fight if New York does not license Margarito. In other words, Miguel isn't going to fight outside of New York, which means reports that Denver is in line to host the fight are perhaps obsolete.
We'll see, but enjoy the episode if you missed it, or just want to watch it again. The episode is also available on HBO On Demand.
