Last night in Atlantic City, live on Showtime and Sky Sports, Andre Ward cemented his standing as the world's top super middleweight, ending the two-year long Super Six World Boxing Classic with an impressive and fairly dominant win over Carl Froch at Boardwalk Hall.
With the victory, Ward picked up Froch's WBC belt to go along with his own WBA title, and added the Super Six trophy and the vacant Ring Magazine world championship to his collection. At 27, the Oakland-born Ward (25-0, 13 KO) has established himself as the true man to be beaten in the division, having chopped down contenders, proven others to be pretenders, and not ducking any significant fights since entering the tournament.
After the jump, we have a photo gallery from last night courtesy Showtime Sports.
