We will indeed have live, round-by-round coverage this morning of the big Kameda brothers double-header from Osaka, as both Daiki and Koki Kameda are in action.
Up first will be WBA bantamweight titlist Koki Kameda (26-1, 17 KO), who defends his title against Mario Macias (23-7, 11 KO). 26-year-old Mexican Macias is not considered a legitimate contender, but Koki has been inconsistent enough in the past to not be a totally clear favorite to make a runaway non-fight of this thing.
In the main event, Daiki Kameda (22-2, 14 KO) looks to pick up the WBA super flyweight title from Thailand's Tepparith Kokietgym (18-2, 12 KO). Daiki has thus far been the lesser-known and lesser-regarded of the two established Kameda brothers, so this is a chance for him to break out in a main event role, with his older brother in the co-feature.
