Weekly honors went to quincyte with 48.5 points, thanks to a 7 for 8 record that included two triples and two doubles. Our winner this week also had the distinction of being the only player to correctly pick the Maidana-Morales battle by taking the favorite to win by any method. Of the remaining 37 players, 32 went with Maidana by stoppage, while the other 5 took Morales to win.
Needless to say, most players didn't fare too well this week. There were a few other good scores though, with tencount (5 for 8, 3 doubles) grabbing second spot with a strong 39.5 points. Taking third place was quadlaser (5 for 7, 1 double) with 25, followed by sigidy (5 for 8, 1 double) in fourth with 22.5 and two-way tie for fifth with Sam5001 (5 for 8, 1 double) and cylee1180 (3 for 5, 2 triples) each putting up 22 points. The rest of the top 10 had Eugene Banks at 20.5, Dafs 19, BoxAnne 19 and journeyintosound and Sweet science both with 14.
This week's top two players are now 1-2 on the overall leaderboard, with quincyte jumping all the way from fourteenth into first with 67.5 and tencount moving up from eighth to second with 64.5 points. Opening week leader ulises solis drops down to third with 62, while journeyintosound falls a couple places into a tie for fourth with sigidy at 50.5. Rounding out the top ten are Eugene Banks 40.5, danywade 37, Sweet science 33.5, Dafs 33 and Bajingo at 32.5.
