Juan Manuel Lopez faces Orlando Salido tomorrow night on Showtime, and Thursday was a big day for the Puerto Rican star.
Lopez visited the office of Bayamon Mayor Ramon Luis Rivera with promoter Bob Arum, then worked out at the gym in Caguas with trainers Alex Caraballa and Louis Gonzalez. Lopez (30-0, 27 KO) is a heavy favorite against Mexican veteran Salido (34-11-2, 22 KO), who lost his last fight to Yuriorkis Gamboa in September of last year.

We'll have a full fight preview up shortly for this one, and will also take a look at the co-feature fight between Luis Cruz and Martin Honorio, which could be very interesting and is quite a fight for short notice.
Don't forget that Bad Left Hook will also have live, round-by-round coverage of Lopez-Salido on Saturday night.
After the jump: More photos of Lopez's workout in Puerto Rico, plus a video update from Showtime on the fight.
