Mexican boxing legends Marco Antonio Barrera and Julio Cesar Chavez were in Puerto Rico today at the weigh-in for tomorrow's fight between Juan Manuel Lopez and Orlando Salido, lending some support to the Mexican underdog as the famed Puerto Rico-Mexico boxing rivalry renews tomorrow night on Showtime at 10:30pm EDT, right after the newest episode of Fight Camp 360 with Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley.
If you missed the video of the weigh-in, you can go here to see that. Salido (126) and Lopez (125) both made weight and looked in solid shape, while co-feature fighters Martin Honorio and Luis Cruz came in on the scales at 131 and 129¾ pounds, respectively.
