According to a report in The Sun, lightweight contender Kevin Mitchell and his 51-year-old mother Alice O'Connor were arrested on April 15, on suspicion of cocaine possession and "running a cannabis farm":
Police, seen removing bags in Dagenham, East London, allegedly found white powder and cannabis plants.

[Mitchell] is being hauled in for talks today with "raging" promoter Frank Warren, who learned about the April 15 arrest from The Sun.
Mitchell (31-1, 23 KO) has not fought since his May 15, 2010, defeat at the hands of Michael Katsidis. He is currently slated to fight John Murray (31-0, 18 KO) on a June date to be determined. The Sun reports Mitchell is on bail until June 10, so this could very well get in the way of Mitchell fighting any time soon. If the Katsidis loss was a career setback, I'm not sure what you'd call this, but whatever it is, it certainly isn't good.
