Undefeated Akron, Ohio-based prospect Shawn Porter (18-0, 13 KO) was in camp with Manny Pacquiao in November 2009, serving as the Filipino icon's chief sparring partner for a fight with Miguel Cotto. In that fight, Pacquiao overwhelmed Cotto and stopped him late. Porter, 23, is back in camp as Pacquiao puts the final touches on his training for a May 7 with "Sugar" Shane Mosley, and he says that Pacquiao has been better this time around.
Porter: "He's picking it up, man, he's looking good. I think Manny's a strong, fast fighter, very quick. I think he's going to use his quickness and his speed. I think he's going to wear Mosley down. ... I don't see Shane being stopped. He's never been stopped before. But I think if anyone's gonna do it, it'll be Manny."
Here's another video of Pacquiao working his abs yesterday with strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza overseeing the workout.
