Main Event, 12 Rounds - Junior Welterweights
Erik Morales - 140
Marcos Maidana - 140

Morales looked pretty soft at the weight, while Maidana looked his usual sturdy self. There's a notable difference in their body types and if Maidana is looking for a quick night, punishing the body might be the way to go.

12 Rounds, Lightweights
Robert Guerrero - 134
Michael Katsidis - 134

Both looked in good shape. The training photos I'd seen of Katsidis didn't look great, but he looked fit here. Katsidis had face paint and a ridiculous hat with pieces of cork hanging off of it, and the two struggled pretty mightily to put on their serious faces for the staredown photos. That was a fun moment. Katsidis spent some time ambling around the stage in a tank top and what appeared to be swimming trunks. That guy is awesome.

8 Rounds, Middleweights
James Kirkland - 158
Nobuhiro Ishida - 158

They made it sound like Kirkland was staying at 160, but getting down to 158 still makes it appear he's working gradually back to 154. Ishida is far taller than Kirkland, and very lean compared to the squat and compact build of the Texan.

10 Rounds, Welterweights
Paulie Malignaggi - 147
Jose Miguel Cotto - 147

Paulie was his usual self, wearing lots of paint for the "Action Heroes" theme. He and Cotto also had difficulty maintaining straight faces. Younger brother Miguel Cotto was also there and had a good laugh, plus shook hands and embraced old foe Malignaggi. Cotto, a Top Rank fighter, was really gung ho about getting in for photo opportunities.
