ShoBox Photos: Dyah Davis Defeats Marcus Johnson on a Night of Upsets

You can check out our full recap of this card here. Last night's American TV slate of boxing featured a lot of upsets. On ShoBox, Dyah Davis topped Marcus Johnson via 10-round decision, while Willie Nelson was knocked down three times in a decision loss to Vincent Arroyo, and mildly-hyped Massachusetts fighter Danny O'Connor dropped a wide eight-round decision to Gabriel "Tito" Bracero. That doesn't even account for Friday Night Fights, where David Lemieux was shown to be a bit undercooked in a step up against tough veteran Marco Antonio Rubio, losing in seven. Oh, and Bastie Samir's draw on Solo Boxeo Tecate against an opponent who had lost three straight coming in.

It was a wild night in boxing to say the least, from Montreal to Laredo and out to Primm, Nevada. A lot of careers got their first reality check in the professional rings, and we have some photos from ShoBox to help document the events in Texas. All photos are by Tom Casino/SHOWTIME.
