Andre Ward Day: Promoter Dan Goossen Compares Qualities to Manny Pacquiao

We're close to wrapping up Andre Ward Day here at Bad Left Hook. Last week, the Super Six combatants who remain in the tournament had a press conference during the extravagant Pacquiao vs Mosley fight week, and Ward's promoter Dan Goossen shared his vision for the Oakland fighter's future, and drew some comparisons between Ward and Manny Pacquiao.

Dan Goossen: "Exactly what we have seen with the Pacquiao-Mosley excitement, the big media congregation, that's the way I envision Andre Ward twelve months from today. All we've got to do is keep pushing the foot to the pedal, and I believe Andre Ward's going to do the rest in the ring. He's exciting, and when people get to feel and touch him, and see what he's all about, and hear what he's all about, they're going to fall in love with him. ... I think the great ones have to stay humble, have to realize that your greatness doesn't come without the work."
