Michael Marley of the Examiner reports that theme songs have been chosen for the entrances of Manny Pacquiao and "Sugar" Shane Mosley this Saturday.

Mosley will be going with LL Cool J's classic "Mama Said Knock You Out." If you don't know this song, I don't know what to tell you, but we'll put the tune in after the jump anyway. It's a classic boxing anthem at this point and one of the great songs in hip-hop history, easily in my view the high point of LL's rather overrated career. (I just don't dig the guy the way some people do, even his early stuff.)

Pacquiao will counter with a live -- yes, seriously -- version of another well-worn boxing standard, Survivor's 1982 single and Rocky III theme "Eye of the Tiger." Some of you may not know that the song was commissioned by Sylvester Stallone personally when he failed to get the rights to use Queen's classic "Another One Bites the Dust." Doesn't that seem to be a really wimpy song in retrospect? Can you imagine Rocky III without "Eye of the Tiger"?

Marley also says that Rick Ross may not be part of Pacquiao's entourage as previously reported, in case anyone's still interested in that.

After the jump, the videos for these songs. To put you in the mood.
