Manny Pacquiao tipped the scales at 145 pounds, while opponent "Sugar" Shane Mosley met the welterweight limit of 147 on the nose today at a packed weigh-in at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reports from the building were that somewhere between 6-8,000 fans were in attendance, along with a mass of media. The fire marshal eventually had to stop allowing fans into the building for the event.
Both Pacquiao and Mosley looked very fit, but that's nothing new for either of them. Even declining due to age, Mosley is a physical specimen to be reckoned with and consistently stays in excellent shape out of the ring. There should be no excuses about coming in out of shape for tomorrow's fight.
