Heavyweight contender Chris Arreola (32-2, 28 KO) will look to keep active with a fight on July 9 in Atlantic City, highlighting the Williams vs Lara undercard. No word on whether or not HBO will televised, but if they're going to put Bermane Stiverne vs Ray Austin on TV, the least they could do is put the popular Arreola back on.

Arreola fought twice in May, on the 14th and 27th, dispatching of Nagy Aguilera in California and then Kendrick Releford in Nevada. The 30-year-old Mexican-American slugger has shown a renewed focus with his career, as he's dropped down to 234 and 236 pounds on the scales for those fights, a far cry from the man who weighed a lazy 263 against Brian Minto in late 2009.

Now all we can hope is that he faces at least a slightly better class of opponent than Aguilera or Releford -- none of the "top" heavyweights are available and/or going to fight him on less than a month's notice, but he could get someone. Sergei Liakhovich recently became available with Robert Helenius injuring his hand, and "White Wolf" has been in training for the 7/16 date, but that one's a pipe dream I assume, or at least as much a "dream" as any Liakhovich fight in 2011 could be. Who would you like to see? Please don't say Oliver McCall.
