Here's the official HBO poster for Saturday's fight between world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and top contender David Haye:
The German poster is better, in my opinion, and it comes down to one thing. As much as I don't like fire and "The War," I really don't like what they've done to David Haye's head here. That's just a strange artistic choice. It looks like they put a photo of him through a "white midwestern American lumberjack and/or hipster" filter and came away with what's gone down here. It looks like a video game head that doesn't belong on the body.
Which is your favorite? Fire and war, or cracked Photoshop filters? I don't feel like either poster really does the fight justice. They should have really gotten together for a genuine face-to-face for the poster.
